Richmond Fencing Club

Richmond Fencing Club has been in existence since the 1960's and at its present location since 2005. Our Club has been home to fencers and coaches who have gone on to compete in the Olympics, Veteran World Championships, numerous National and International events, and Coach Champion University and Olympic fencing teams. The Club is home to multiple national competitors, division champions, section champions, and national point holders.  We teach all three weapons to interested students ages 6 and up.

Interested in trying a new sport?

A perfect introduction to fencing for those who have never fenced before.  Our Introduction to Fencing class offers an overview to fencing including:

  • - Footwork
  • - Introduction to rules, scoring, etc.
  • - Basic fencing skills
