What
equipment do I need for the beginner class? All equipment necessary for the class is provided except a
glove, which is available for purchase at the Club or online.
3. Where can I buy fencing equipment? Richmond Fencing Club sells fencing equipment, or we can recommend a reputable online vendor.
4. How young is too young to fence? If your child can handle
little league, he/she can handle fencing. Our
afternoon classes are divided by age categories (6-10 years, 8-13 years), and
our evening classes are open to all ages 8-up.
5. How old is too old? We have fencers in their
seventies. As long as you stretch out well
and fence your pace, no problem.
6. When do you meet? We meet daily in our facility

7. Does the Beginner class fee cover the whole 8 weeks of the beginner class? Yes it does, other than a glove.
8. If I miss a class can I schedule a make up? If you miss a class you will need to make arrangements with the Coach teaching the class to get caught up. Often, it will be possible for you to catch up during the next class, but we do not guarantee that you will be able to make up a class that you miss. Try to avoid missing any classes.
9. When should I pay my membership dues or class fee? Class fees are due prior to your first class, for Beginner Foil classes, or by the first of the month for dues or monthly classes.

I get a refund if I miss classes? Class
fees are not refundable after the first class.
